By using our website, purchasing items, or booking workshops and private events, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Overview

Studio Tesoro (“we,” “us,” “our”) offers handmade ceramics, pottery kits, workshops, and private event services.
These Terms govern your use of our website and participation in our offerings.

2. Handmade Nature

Every Studio Tesoro piece is handmade.
Variations in size, colour, texture, clay form, underglaze, or finish are natural and expected.
These features are not defects, but characteristics of authentic handmade work.

By purchasing from Studio Tesoro, you acknowledge and accept these variations.

3. Pricing & Availability

  • Prices are displayed in CAD unless otherwise stated.

  • We reserve the right to adjust prices, product availability, and shipping timelines at any time.

  • Limited-run or small-batch items may sell out.

4. Orders

Placing an order constitutes an agreement to purchase.
We may cancel or refuse orders due to:

  • Inventory issues

  • Payment processing errors

  • Shipping restrictions

  • Fraud or suspicious activity

Any cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Workshops & Private Events

By booking or attending a session, you agree that:

  • Deposits may be non-refundable

  • Rescheduling depends on availability

  • Participants must follow safety instructions when using tools or clay

Studio Tesoro is not responsible for:

  • Injuries resulting from misuse of materials or tools

  • Damaged personal belongings

  • Allergic reactions to materials

Some workshop pieces require weeks to dry and fire before pickup.

6. Shipping

Shipping costs appear at checkout.
International customers are responsible for duties, customs fees, and import taxes.

Studio Tesoro is not responsible for delays due to:

  • Carriers

  • Customs

  • Postal disruptions

  • Extreme weather or events outside our control

7. Returns & Exchanges

Because our ceramics, vintage items, and kits are handmade and often one-of-a-kind, all sales are final.

If your order arrives damaged:
Contact us within 48 hours with:

  • Photos of the damaged piece

  • Photos of the box and packaging

We will review your case individually.

8. Digital Products

For workshops or digital resources:

  • Access links or downloads may not be shared or resold

  • All intellectual property remains owned by Studio Tesoro

    Unauthorized distribution is strictly prohibited.

9. Intellectual Property

All branding, photographs, designs, workshop materials, product descriptions, and written content are the exclusive property of Studio Tesoro.

You may not:

  • Republish

  • Reproduce

  • Sell

  • Modify

  • Use commercially

without written consent.

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to breach security

  • Collect data or scrape content

  • Introduce malware or interfere with site performance

  • Submit fraudulent orders or information

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Studio Tesoro is not liable for indirect or consequential damages

  • We are not responsible for misuse of ceramic products after delivery

  • Customers assume responsibility for proper handling

Avoid extreme temperature changes or sudden impacts with ceramics.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Disputes will be handled within local jurisdiction.
